About Campus Dude & Editorial Standards

Campus Dude is an independent web games portal and review publication founded on a radical premise: digital entertainment for students should be fast, beautifully crafted, respectful of personal privacy, and completely free of manipulative dark patterns.

The Founder & Editorial Lead

Campus Dude was conceived, engineered, and curated by Muhammad Taki Ahmed, a software developer and web standards enthusiast based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. During university lecture breaks and study marathons in campus computer labs, Ahmed noticed a frustrating reality: virtually every web gaming site was choked with intrusive full-screen popups, deceptive "Start Download" ads, mandatory user registration walls, and sluggish frameworks that drained laptop batteries.

In response, Campus Dude was built from scratch using lightweight HTML5 Canvas and native JavaScript. There are no tracking scripts, no pay-to-win microtransactions, no mandatory accounts, and no downloads. Every title runs directly in any modern browser on laptops, Chromebooks, iPads, and smartphones with instant sub-second load times.

Our Editorial Mission & Review Desk

In addition to hosting handcrafted browser games, Campus Dude operates an active Editorial Review Desk. We believe that casual browser games deserve the same critical rigor, technical benchmarking, and design critique typically reserved for AAA console titles. Every single game in our 22-title library undergoes rigorous testing before publication and receives an independent, publicly documented review scorecard.

Our 5-Pillar Evaluation Framework

Our reviews score games on a transparent 1.0 to 10.0 scale across five core dimensions:

Our Hardware Testing Lab

To ensure universal cross-platform reliability, our games and interactive simulations are benchmarked across a diverse array of physical hardware and browser engines:

Advertising Ethics & Monetization Transparency

Campus Dude is funded entirely through non-intrusive, family-safe advertising served via Google AdSense. Advertising revenue covers server infrastructure, domain registration, SSL certificates, and ongoing game development.

We maintain a strict, unbreakable Monetization Code of Conduct:

Community Feedback & Game Submissions
